Oeko-Tex Standard 100

Jong Stit Co., Ltd. is granted authorization according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 to use the Oeko-Tex mark, based on the test report HKWG 030300 and HKYO 052980.1 for the following articles:

HKWG 030300 : Knitted and Fleece fabrics made of polyester, dyed and finished

HKYO 052980.1 : Textured and Twisted yarns made of polyester, raw white

The results of the inspection made according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, product class II for products with direct contact to skin, have shown that the above mentioned goods meet the human-ecological requirements of the standard presently established.

The certified articles fulfil the requirements of the existing European legistration regarding the use of azo-dyes.

About Oeko-Tex Standard 100

Most textiles and clothing items are not really dangerous for human beings. Nevertheless people want to be able to buy clothing, bedding and household textiles that have been tested and are not tainted in any way with harmful substances for
certain. This doesn't necessarily mean textiles untreated with chemicals. On the contrary, fashion, utility and care must have their due .
Independent European textile research institutes have therefore been working for years to arrive at a standard for gauging the ecological qualities of a textile product in an objective and scientifically verifiable manner.

The Oeko-Tex standard 100 sets yardsticks. For yarns, fabrics and textile products of all kinds, limits have been laid down for noxious substances in line with the latest scientific knowledge. Only manufacturers who comply with strict testing and inspection procedures and provide verifiable quality assurance are allowed to place the Oeko-Tex label on their products.

The testing institutes of the international society for research and testing in textile technology (Oeko-Tex) ensure that the Oeko-Tex standard 100 lives up to its promise trust in textiles.
